PRE-SALES CONSULTANT

Responsibilities:

  • IT Networking experience (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, 3Com, Force10) for solution positioning
  • Work with Principle closely & Responsible for pre-sale activities
  • Designing solutions networks in building proposals, creating Build of materials (BOM) for the channels and also helping channels to close deals with customers
  • Provide product training to channels, customers & internal
  • Consultation to prospective clients & ensure sales, product management receive support as they request
  • Work with Product Management and Marketing to help define/refine sales messages and ensure sales packages are developed and messages communicated to sales team
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills & Ability to understand data relationships and how data can be used to solve business problems
  • Responsible for staying abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This includes interacting with Product Management and Development on an on-going basis to stay current

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information technology or equivalent
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
  • Specialized in Networking priority and also storage knowledge is a must
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Analytical ability to decide which technology to use in a given environment
  • Multi-tasking capabilities to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in multiple Hardware and Software environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems environments
