Brocade 8470 Switch Module
The Brocade 8470 Switch Module for IBM BladeCenter is a highly integrated solution that supports connectivity to IP LANs and Fibre Channel SANs. It includes Dynamic Ports on Demand (DPoD) capabilities to enable scalability from 16 to 30 ports. This feature also supports the 16-port entry module in IP LAN, Fibre Channel SAN, or mixed environments. The Brocade 8470 is the only BladeCenter converged solution with native 8 Gbps Fibre Channel connectivity, and it supports native connectivity to third-party SANs.
Brocade 8000 Switch
The Brocade 8000 is a top-of-rack link layer (Layer 2) DCB/FCoE switch with 24 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) ports for LAN connections and eight Fibre Channel ports (with up to 8 Gbps speed) for Fibre Channel SAN connections.
